Donington on Bain Village Hall was founded in 1879 and is also known as The Old Foresters Hall. In 1962 the hall was officially adopted by Trustees of the Management Committee. It was used for a church hall in 1905. In the year 2000 the hall was refurbished by using a lottery grant and European funding making it the light, well equipped and user friendly hall it is today.
There is a well fitted kitchen with a catering oven, crockery and cutlery. There is disabled access and facilities within the hall and also child friendly facilities. The hall boasts the option of 1 large hall or the use of folding doors to create 3 halls. There is enough seating and tables to cater for 120 people and also is equipped with an audio loop and sound system.
