	Donington on Bain has a number of local groups, all of which provide much valued services. Many of these groups have their own Web Sites, Facebook pages and other online resources. We regret that we cannot accept responsibility for the content of external web sites



FODOBS - Friends Of Donington On Bain School - *Web Site*

		The money raised by FODOBS is used to subsidize school trips, replace and renew some of the school equipment and facilities and last year money went towards developing a pond area outside Class 1 and 2. We have held a Barn Dance for the past two years; and continue to run an annual Christmas Fayre and other events such as Bingo and a Halloween Dance. We are always looking for new ideas and volunteers. We are a friendly informal committee which generally meets six times a year at a local pub.

	Donington on Bain Pre School & Toddlers offers places for children aged 2-5 years and is Ofsted registered.

	We are open 5 mornings a week from 9.15 - 12.15, and also offer a lunch time session until 1.15 p.m. On Friday afternoons we run a Baby and Toddler Group from 1.30 - 3.20 p.m. This is a great opportunity to relax with a cuppa, chat with friends and meet new ones while watching your children play.

Donington on Bain Village Hall was founded in 1879 and is also known as The Old Foresters Hall. In 1962 the hall was officially adopted by Trustees of the Management Committee. It was used for a church hall in 1905. In the year 2000 the hall was refurbished by using a lottery grant and European funding making it the light, well equipped and user friendly hall it is today.

There is a well fitted kitchen with a catering oven, crockery and cutlery. There is disabled access and facilities within the hall and also child friendly facilities. The hall boasts the option of 1 large hall or the use of folding doors to create 3 halls. There is enough seating and tables to cater for 120 people and also is equipped with an audio loop and sound system.

	The club is operated by a team of dedicated people who offer their time and knowledge on a purely voluntary basis.


	Donington on Bain Football Club is located in the Lincolnshire Wolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty, currently playing in the East Lincs Combination Football League Division 2.


	Players of 15+ are welcome to attend training on one of the best pitches in the league or our Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA).
